8.2 Status and error messages during the device test
Messages during the device test comprise status and error messages, sometimes accom-
panied by a prompt to take action.
In the case of error messages, an error message code is also displayed.
Message ID Cause / Remedial action
Battery
Battery malfunction
Press the turning knob to
continue.
B001 The emergency battery is defective.
After confirmation of the error message by the
user, the vaporizer continues with the device
test. Despite a malfunction of the emergency
battery, the device test can be successfully fin-
ished and the vaporizer can be put into opera-
tion.
In the event of a power supply failure, the dis-
pensing of anaesthetic agent stops.

-- The vaporizer heats up and conducts a self-
test.

Turn the turning knob to
continue.
-- Turn the turning knob. After turning, the
vaporizer ends the device test.
Device test
Device test successful.
Press the turning knob to
continue.
-- The device test has finished successfully.
To confirm the message, press the turning knob
briefly. After confirmation, the vaporizer
switches to the operating screen.

Device test failed.
To repeat, press the turning
knob.
> D100 The device test failed.
Press the turning knob briefly to repeat the de-
vice test.
If the device test fails multiple times, put the va-
porizer into Standby and contact Service.
Fill level
Fill level low.
Fill up to continue.
L001 The level in the reservoir is too low.
Fill up the reservoir. After filling up, the vapor-
izer continues with the device test.
