5 Operation

SmartVap Vaporizer SW 1.n, Instructions for use (en-US)

5.9.3

Ending Standby mode

To end Standby mode, briefly press the turning knob. The vaporizer conducts a device test
and is then ready for use.

Additional information about the device test can be found in chapter 5.4.

5.10 Removing the vaporizer from an anaesthesia workstation

Prerequisite:

The vaporizer is in Standby mode.

Turn the locking knob to the right (in a counterclockwise direction).

► The locking knob is in horizontal position. The vaporizer is no longer locked.

Carefully lift the vaporizer vertically, using both hands.

Disconnect the vaporizer from the mains power supply.
