7.5.6 Perform a software update
Prerequisite: A USB drive (FAT32 formatted) containing the software update file made
available by the vaporizer manufacturer must be connected to the vapo-
rizer.

Additional information about connecting the USB drive can be found in chapter 7.3.
IMPORTANT Damage to the device may be caused by a failure of the power
supply during the software update
Before performing the software update, ensure that the vapo-
rizer is connected to the mains power supply and that the
charge level of the emergency battery is at least 90%.
A In the Options dialog of the Expanded menu, tap the Software update (1) button.
► The
Software update dialog is displayed.
B Tap the Update (4) button
► The
Update (4) button changes color to blue.
► The illuminated ring around the turning knob (5) flashes blue.
