10 Emptying the vaporizer

SmartVap Vaporizer SW 1.n, Instructions for use (en-US)

To end the emptying, unscrew the anaesthetic bottle (2) by approximately a 1/3 turn in a

counterclockwise direction.
► The bottle valve is closed.

WARNING

To ensure that no Desflurane leaks out, do not unscrew the an-
aesthetic bottle while the vaporizer is upside down and the an-
aesthetic bottle points downward.

Place the vaporizer in an upright position.

Unscrew and remove the anaesthetic bottle by turning counterclockwise.

Close the cover flap (1) of the fill opening.

CAUTION

Close the cover flap of the fill opening immediately after filling to
avoid contaminating the fill opening with dirt particles and thus
causing the valve to leak.

Seal the anaesthetic bottle with the cap and label it.
