C.3.1 Main Setup Features
C.3.1.1 System Time
To set the system date and time, key in the correct information in the appropriate
fields. Then press the <Enter> key to save the data.
C.3.1.2 System Date
Using the arrow keys, highlight the month, day, and year fields, and enter the correct
data. Press the <Enter> key to save the data.
C.3.1.3 BIOS Date
The item displays the date that the BIOS was built.
C.3.1.4 Legacy Diskette A
This setting allows the user to set the type of floppy disk drive installed as diskette
A. The options are: Disabled, 360Kb 5.25 in, 1.2MB 5.25 in, 720Kb 3.5 in,
1.44/1.25MB , 3.5 in and 2.88MB 3.5 in.

IDE Channel 0 Master/Slave, IDE Channel 1 Mas-
ter/Slave, SATA Port2, SATA Port3
These settings allow the user to set the parameters of IDE Channel 0 Master/ Slave,
IDE Channel 1 Master/Slave, SATA Port2, SATA Port3 slots. Hit <Enter> to acti-
vate the following sub-menu screen for detailed options of these items. Set the cor-
rect configurations accordingly. The items included in the submenu are shown in
Figure C-2 on page C-5.
C.3.1.5 Type
Selects the type of IDE hard drive. The options are Auto , (which allows the BIOS to
automatically determine the hard drive's capacity, number of heads, etc.), a number
from 1-39 to select a predetermined type of hard drive, CDROM and ATAPI
Removable. The option “User” will allow the user to enter the parameters of the
HDD installed at this connection. The option “Auto” will allow the BIOS to auto-
matically configure the parameters of the HDD installed at the connection. Choose
the option 1-39 to select a predetermined HDD type. Select CDROM if a CDROM
drive is installed. Select ATAPI if a removable disk drive is installed.
