Power Supply
Each 460-watt load-sharing (N+1 redundant) power supply can be hot-swapped
while the system is still on and operational.
2.1.6.1 Removing a Power Supply
Perform the following steps to remove a power supply:
1.
To remove a power supply, first loosen and remove the two captive screws
holding the power supply handle retainer (see
A
,
Figure 2-9
).
2.
Loosen and remove the two captive screws holding the power-cord bracket.
3.
Hook your right index finger into the extraction handle and pull the locking
lever to the right with the right thumb (see
B
,
Figure 2-9
), freeing the power
supply from being held within the chassis.
4.
Pull the power supply until it is free of the chassis.
Caution:
When pulling the power supply from the chassis, hold it at the bot-
tom to prevent it from falling and damaging the unit.
