Disassembling the LDA
To prevent contamination of the internal surfaces of the LDA, make sure that you have a
clean benchtop to work on before you disassemble the LDA.
To replace the piston seals, remove the holding hooks, bushings, and pistons from the LDA
body. To replace the check valves, completely disassemble the LDA.
To disassemble the LDA, follow these procedures:

To remove the holding hooks, bushings, and pistons from the LDA Body
1. Using the 4 mm L-Hex wrench, loosen the fastening screws on the left side of the LDA as
shown in
Figure 46
.
These screws secure the holding hooks to the body of the LDA. As you loosen the screws,
the holding hooks move to the right. You can detach the holding hooks completely with
approximately nine turns on the screw fasteners.
