Removing the LDA from the Pump

10. Gently push the piston heads to the left so that they do not contact the Z-arms as shown
in
Figure 44
.

11. Using a 4 mm ball driver, loosen the three captive screws that secure the LDA to the front
panel of the pump (see
Figure 39
on
page 61
).
12. Pull the LDA forward until it clears the two mounting pins, and then lift it up
approximately 1 cm.

Piston heads
CAUTION
Take care not to pinch the wires that connect the actuating coils to the
pump. Pinching a connecting wire can irreversibly damage the thin electrical wire
housed within the white insulated coating. The damage might not be apparent until
you attempt to run the pump.
