Data System Instrument Configuration
To add the Accela Pump to the data system instrument configuration and to ensure that the
Accela Autosampler recognizes the input signals issued by the pump, follow the procedures in
this chapter.
Adding the Pump to the Xcalibur Instrument Configuration

To add the Accela Pump to the Xcalibur instrument configuration
1. Depending on the data system version, do one of the following:
• For Xcalibur versions below 2.1, from the computer desktop, choose
Start > All
Programs > Xcalibur > Instrument Configuration
.
The Instrument Configuration window appears (see
Figure 19
).
• For Xcalibur 2.1 and higher, from the computer desktop, choose
Start >
All Programs > Thermo Foundation > Instrument Configuration.
The Thermo Foundation Instrument Configuration window appears
