To install the check valves and their holders
1. Insert the PEEK film seals into both bores of the lower displacement chamber.
2. Insert the check valves and PEEK seals into their respective holders (see
Figure 73
).

3. Insert the holders into the bores of the lower displacement chamber.
4. Because the fit between the check valve holders and the displacement chamber bores is
loose, place the LDA on a flat surface as you insert the lower displacement chamber and
check valve assembly.
Installing the Screw-In Check Valves (discontinued version)

To install the check valves that screw into the lower displacement chamber
1. Install the PEEK film seals and check valves into the lower displacement chamber as
shown in
Figure 74
:
a. Insert a film seal into the lower bore of the lower displacement chamber, and then
screw the inlet check valve into the bore, fingertight.
b. Insert a film seal into the upper bore of the lower displacement chamber, and then
screw the outlet check valve into the bore, fingertight.
