To check the input signal polarities for the Accela Autosampler
1. From the computer desktop, do the following:
• For Xcalibur versions below 2.1, from the computer desktop, choose
Start > All
Programs > Xcalibur > Instrument Configuration
.
The Instrument Configuration window appears (see
Figure 19
on
page 26
).
• For Xcalibur 2.1 and higher, from the computer desktop, choose
Start >
All Programs > Thermo Foundation > Instrument Configuration.
The Thermo Foundation Instrument Configuration window appears

on
page 27
).
2. In the Configured Devices pane, double-click the
Accela Autosampler
button.
The Accela Autosampler Configuration dialog box appears.
3. Click the
Signal polarity
tab.
The Signal Polarity page appears (see
Figure 22
).
4. Make sure that the
Pump ready active high
check box and the
Injection hold release
active high
check box are selected.
Note
In Xcalibur, the instrument setup method for the pump contains a custom stability
limit parameter. This parameter allows the user to define the acceptable level of pressure
stability that must be attained before the pump issues the Pump Ready signal to the
autosampler.
