Workspace
: The software opens a
trace
file in view(s) based on the specified
default workspace.
As
previously
saved
: The software opens a
trace
file in view (views) based on the last
saved configuration for the
trace
file.
Optimization
Sampling
memory
usage
optimization
: Enables memory cascading for two ports. The
analyzer will use memory of another port if there is not data on another port. (see
“Sampling Memory Usage Optimization” on page 334
)
Quick
View
: Quick View allows full access to the whole trace more quickly, especially
when using a Gigabit Ethernet connection. However, the trace is NOT written to the host
machine’s hard drive. To save the trace, you must manually click
Save
.
If you do not check Quick View, the trace loads more slowly but is automatically saved to
the host machine’s hard drive.
