CAUTION: Unplug the vacuum cleaner before servicing
1. Replace the bag. Even if the bag is not full the pores could be clogged.
2. Check the filters. Replace as necessary.
3. Check the brush strips. If the brush strips are worn, replace. See pages 15-16 for instructions.
4. Check the hose for a clog. Inspect the hose for cracks or holes and reinstall on the machine.
5. Check the direct air motor clean out door. Remove the two screws on the lower back housing shown
in Fig. A. Then remove the clean out door (Fig. B.) Look into the direct air motor fan for an obstruc
tion. If no obstruction is found proceed to the next stp.
6. Check the condition of the belt. If the belt is worn or stretched, replace. See page 14 for instructions.
7. Check the nozzle air path for a clog (Fig. C.)
8. Check the back airpath for an obstruction (Fig. D.) See page 31-32 for instructions on removing the
back cover. .
