CAUTION: Unplug the vacuum cleaner before servicing.
1. Turn the roto-knob to the left far enough to disengage the switch. Remove the screw for the roto-valve
switch cover plate (Fig. A.)
2. Remove the roto-valve switch cover plate (Fig. B.)
3. Set a multimeter to Ohms and place one lead on each side of the switch as shown in Fig. C.
4. Actuate the switch. When the switch is closed the multimeter should ohm out (Fig. D.)
