CAUTION: Unplug the vacuum cleaner before servicing.
1. Access the motor compartment as shown on pages 38-39.
2. Locate the wings switch and inspect it for damage (Fig. A.) The switch should be open by default.
Check the wire leads and make sure they are secure and not pinched or cut.
3. Check continuity through the winged rocker switch with a multimeter set to ohms. The switch should
show continuity in the open position (Fig. B.) If continutiy is not present replace switch. If continuity
is present proceed to next step.
4. Replace the main PC board located in the motor compartment. See page 49 for instructions.
