CAUTION: Unplug the vacuum cleaner before servicing

1. Check the continuity through the switch. Place the multimeter leads on each side of the switch (Fig.

A.) With the switch in the on position the multimeter should read zero. If it does not, replace switch.

If switch tests good proceed to the next step.
