CAUTION: Unplug the vacuum cleaner before servicing.
4. Discard old switch. Connect the flag connectors to the new switch and position it in the handle grip.
NOTE: The switch should be positioned so that the on position is forward (toward the nozzle) and the
off position is back (toward the top of the handle.) as shown in Fig. F.
5. Make sure all wires are routed correctly (Fig. E) and reinstall the other half of the handle grip. Be
careful not to pinch any wires in the process. Allow the switch to hang out of the front of the grip.
6. Reinstall the six (6) screws in the grip and then push the switch in place (Fig. F.)
