3-40 ENGINE

• Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER “1303” to the intake pipe bolts.
• Install the intake pipe and tighten the bolts to the specified

torque.

NOTE:
Make sure that the “up mark”

comes to the upper side.

AUTOMATIC DECOMP.

Inspect the decomp. control arm

moves smoothly and

decomp. cam

rotates together. If any abnormal condition are

found, replace the camshaft assembly.
