CHASSIS 8-81

• Install the rear brake case.
• Apply a small quantity THREAD LOCK SUPER “1360” to the

rear brake case bolts.

• Tighten the bolts diagonally to the specified torque.

Rear brake case bolt: 26 N·m (2.6 kgf-m, 19.0 lb-ft)

99000-32130: THREAD LOCK SUPER “1360”

• Install the return spring

• Install the limit indicator

NOTE:
When installing the limit indicator

, align the wide spline.

• Install the rear brake cam lever

to the rear brake cam shaft.

NOTE:
When installing the brake cam lever, align the punched mark.

• Tighten the cam lever nut

to the specified torque.

Rear brake cam lever nut: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lb-ft)

REMOUNTING

Remount the final gear case assembly in the reverse order of
removal. Pay attention to the following points:

• Apply WATER RESISTANCE GREASE to the rear propeller

shaft joint spline.
