CLUTCH DRIVE PLATES INSPECTION
NOTE:
* Wipe off engine oil from the clutch drive plates with a clean
rag.
* Clutch drive plate No.1: Purple paint
No.2: Green paint
No.3: Dampers on claws
• Measure the drive plates with a vernier calipers.
• If the thickness is not within the standard range or the claw
width is less than the limit, replace it with a new one.
Drive plate thickness (No.1, No.2 and No.3)
Standard: 2.92 – 3.08 mm (0.115 – 0.121 in)
Drive plate claw width (No.1, No.2 and No.3)
Service Limit: 12.9 mm (0.508 in)
