• Install the clutch springs.
• Hold the clutch housing using the special tool.

Be careful not to damage the clutch housing or clutch
plates.

09920-53740: Clutch sleeve hub holder
• Tighten the clutch spring set bolts to the specified torque.
!
Clutch spring set bolt: 10 N.m (1.0 kgf.m, 7.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
Tighten the clutch spring set bolts diagonally.
CLUTCH COVER
• Apply SUZUKI BOND “1207B” lightly to the mating surfaces at
the parting line between the upper, middle and lower crankcases
as shown.

• Install the gasket

and the dowel pins.

Use the new gasket to prevent oil leakage.
• Install the clutch cover and tighten its bolts to the specified torque.

Clutch cover bolt: 10 N.m (1.0 kgf.m, 7.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
* Fit the clamp to the bolt

as shown.
* Fit the gaskets to the bolts

as shown.
