STARTER CLUTCH
• Install the washer

• Install the starter clutch assembly onto the crankshaft.
NOTE:
Align the engraved line

on the starter clutch with the punched
mark
B
on the crankshaft.
• Install the starter clutch bolt with the washer.
• Hold the starter clutch with special tool and tighten its bolt to the
specified torque.

Starter clutch bolt: 55 N.m (5.5 kgf.m, 40.0 lb-ft)
STARTER IDLE GEAR
• Install the starter idle gear No.2

, its shaft

and the wave
washer

.
• Apply SUZUKI BOND “1207B” lightly to the mating surfaces

at the parting line between the upper and lower crankcases and
surface
B
as shown.
