SPARK PLUG AND IGNITION COIL/PLUG CAP
INSTALLATION
• Install the spark plugs to the cylinder head by finger tight, and

then tighten them to the specified torque.

Spark plug: 11 N.m (1.1 kgf.m, 8.0 Ib-ft)

To avoid damaging the cylinder head threads, first finger
tighten the spark plug and then tighten it to the proper
torque using the spark plug wrench.

• Install the ignition coils/plug caps and connect their lead wire

couplers.

#

* Do not strike the ignition coil/plug cap with a plastic

hammer when installing it.

* When installing the ignition coil/plug cap, place its cou-

pler not to contact with the cylinder head cover.
