FI SYSTEM AND INTAKE AIR SYSTEM 4-71

• Connect the two cables temporarily to the throttle body.

• Connect the cables to the inside slots

of the STV actuator

pulley.

• Install the pulley to the shaft by aligning the groove

with the

line

The slot of the pulley must be facing to downward.

• Hold the pulley with an adjustable wrench, and then tighten the

pulley mounting bolt to the specified torque.

STV actuator pulley mounting bolt: 5 N.m

(0.5 kgf.m, 3.5 lb-ft)

When loosening or tightening the pulley bolt, be sure to
fix the pulley with an adjustable wrench, or STV actuator
may get damaged.

• Connect the STV actuator lead wire couplers
