2.4. Drive Tray Bezel
The drive tray is designed to accommodate separately purchased SAS or SATA
interface hard disk drives. There is a release button

that can be used when
retrieving disk drives from the chassis. To the right of the bezel plate, there is a
drive busy LED

and a power status LED
(3)
.
WARNING
Be careful not to warp, twist, or contort the drive tray in any way (e.g., by
dropping it or resting heavy objects on it). If the drive bay structure is deformed
or altered, the drive trays may not fit into the drive bay.
Drive Tray LED
Two LED indicators are located on the right side of each drive tray. When
notified by a drive failure message, you should check the drive tray indicators to
find the correct location of the failed drive.

indicates data is being written to or
read from the drive. The drive is busy.
Steady Blue
indicates that a hard drive is plugged-in
but there is no activity on the disk drive.
2. Power Status
Green

Green
indicates that the drive bay is populated and
is working normally.
RED
indicates that the disk drive has failed, or a
connection problem occurred.
