Serial Commands
When the network interface is properly configured, these commands are also available
via Telnet protocol.
When you establish communications with the unit, a prompt will appear. The following
commands may be entered at the prompt.
data
toggles the data dump on and off. Data output is in raw, cumulative, counts.
help or ?
Displays a list of commands available the user.
status
Displays general information about the instrument including: the serial
number, the software version, model, TCP/IP parameters, options, and SSTs.
set queue
number
This sets the number of samples to be retransmitted to Facility Net whenever
the IsoAir 310P particle sensor reconnects after a network or computer
outage. The number must be > 0 and < 3000. The samples are not sent when
the instrument first connects after a power outage or reset.
NOTE:
The software automatically turns the pump off until the delay is 60
seconds or less before the next sample.
set sam(ple) x y
This command sets the minimum sample interval to x seconds and the
maximum sample interval (used when zero particles are detected) to y
seconds. PMS strongly recommends that both sample intervals be set to the
same value when connected via OPC in order to disable the zero count sample
interval processing. It is not required to set the sample interval when running
the Airnet II particle sensor with Facility Net.
set led
{1 | 0}
This command determines the function of the Status LED when TCP/IP
communications to Facility Net is not active.
If set to 1: the Status LED will blink green if no TCP/IP connection is active.
If set to 0: the Status LED will show laser/flow/sampling status.
If sampling is on, and the laser and blower are OK, then the LED will show solid
green. Otherwise, the LED will show red.
If in capoff mode, the LED will be amber.
run start
Start sampling. If the instrument has an active network connection to Facility
Net, this command will fail.
run stop
End sampling. If the IsoAir 310P particle sensor has an active network
connection to Facility Net, this command will fail.
run pump
Start the pump.
