IsoAir 310P Aerosol Particle Sensor Operations Manual

Chapter 1
Introduction
The IsoAir 310P particle sensor is designed to provide cleanroom and isolator
monitoring. When environmental particles go out of specification, the instrument can
initiate an alarm to halt operation and help identify the cause.
The IsoAir 310P particle sensor generates its own vacuum with an internal pump with
HEPA-filtered discharge. The pump-generated vacuum delivers a stream of sample air
to the sensor. Sample flow is monitored and reported with a patented three-pressure
transducer system.
Available options include:
1
Three 4-20 mA outputs: one for fault status and two for particle counts
2
Three 4-20 mA inputs for environmental sensors and 5 solid state outputs for a
possible local light control tower to mimic the local LEDs
3
Wireless communication
To manage the data, the IsoAir 310P particle sensor integrates all data into a single
record and sends this record to the FacilityPro or Facility Net FMS system. FacilityPro
can be programmed to monitor and archive the data, print reports, generate and
manage alarms, and so on. Additional communication protocols include Modbus and
OPC for wider third-party system integration. Communications can also be done via
Ethernet using Particle Measuring Systems protocols into customer systems.
