Chapter 5 4-20 mA Output Option
Configuring 4-20 mA Output
This device can be set to auto start via the
set inst auto 1
command (see below).
Normally the instrument will not take samples until it connects to Facility Net. Use the
following serial commands to configure the 4-20 mA signals.
set scale
max1 max2 max3
Set the maximum output values for the 4-20
mA option channels.
set eos
{1 | 0}
Sets the 4-20 mA output to either “End of
Sample” (when value = 1), or continuous.
set cumul
{1 | 0}
Set the 4-20 mA output to cumulative data
(when value = 1). Otherwise, differential data
counts are output.
set raw
{1 | 0}
Set the 4-20 mA output to raw data output
(when value = 1). Otherwise the data is
normalized by the volume in cubic feet.
set inst auto
{1 | 0}
Set to AutoStart when value = 1.

I
Sets the IsoAir 310P in 4-20 mA output demo
mode. The instrument generates analog
values in order to verify the interface reading.
Reboot is required to end this mode.

NOTE:
These serial commands are only for use with the optional 4-20 mA
output option. When the network interface is properly configured,
these commands are also available via Telnet protocol.
These settings, as well as sampling settings, are all placed in EEPROM memory, and are
therefore protected from any data loss.
When set to 4 channel mode, a command is available to set the second output:
set second
{2, 3, 4}
The first channel is preset. The second channel can be configured for
channel 2, 3, or 4.
