Sensor Installation
Connecting the Electrical Wiring
CAUTION
• All wiring must be done in accordance with applicable electrical codes.
• A qualified electrician should be used for wiring AC Mains.
• This instrument requires an external power disconnect for safety.
Electrical wiring should be rated to handle the following current, per instrument:
• 100 – 240 V, 50 – 60 Hz, 1 A
Wires connecting to the AC terminal block must be 14 AWG / 2.5 mm

minimum. See
for wiring placement. The terminal block can be removed by loosening its
two screws and rotating/sliding out of slots.
The external safety disconnect may be either a switch or a circuit breaker. A single or
double pole switch is acceptable.
