Per the OPC Data Access server specification, each presented data tag will have an
associated time stamp. Since the IsoAir 310P particle sensor has no real-time clock
and no way to synchronize time, the time stamp will be accurate in its chronological
progression, but the absolute time/date indicated will be arbitrary.
Quality on the counter tags is set bad if flow and/or laser status is bad. All other tags
will have quality set good since the data presented by these tags are still valid.
After powering on, the particle sensor is constantly sampling. Data is made available
at the end of each defined sample interval.
The “
Set Resynch
” command is set by selecting 0 or 1. This allows the counter to
synchronize its sample with the first OPC connection.
OPC Setup
IsoAir 310P OPC provides data via an OPC Server. The server supports OPC Data Access
Custom Interface Standard 2.05a. Information on the OPC specifications and
standards can be found at http://www.opcfoundation.org/.These specifications and
standards are essential for understanding how to use OPC.
