IsoAir 310P Aerosol Particle Sensor Operations Manual
Chapter 3 Configuring for Facility Net
Configuring Instrument Channels
Configuring Instrument Channels
The IsoAir 310P particle sensor can be set up for either the default 4-channel or the 2-
channel pharmaceutical mode configuration that only outputs 0.5 and 5.0 µm
channels.
Setting the Auto-Buffer Size
The IsoAir 310P particle sensor automatically saves a buffer of the last 3000 samples
in RAM. These samples can be automatically sent via TCP/IP whenever a socket
reconnection occurs. The samples are transmitted when all the following conditions
are met:
• The sensor has already been connected via TCP/IP and it has not been reset or
power-cycled since this connection was made.
• A new socket connection is made to the sensor from the same host as connected
before.
• A command to begin sampling is issued via the TCP socket.
In this (and only this) situation, the IsoAir 310P particle sensor will begin
retransmitting samples. To set the number of samples to retransmit, use the command
set Queue
nnn
where
nnn
is a number
0 and
3000. If 1 is set, the feature will be
disabled.
CAUTION
Setting a large Queue number may cause host problems or network congestion if a
large number of instruments are all reconnected simultaneously.
