>> To set TCP/IP addresses:
1
At the HyperTerminal session command prompt, execute the following commands
as required.
set ip
aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
sets the IP address in decimal notation. The IP address is in the form
aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd. Each three-digit series is a value from 0
–255
separated by period characters (.) This address is unique to the
hardware it serves. For example, 192.100.100.043 would be a valid IP
address. The value is not saved until the
write
command is issued.
set mask
aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
sets the network mask in decimal notation. The network mask is in
the form aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd with each three-digit series representing a
value from 0
–255 separated by period characters (.) This address is
unique to the hardware it serves. For example, 255.255.000.000 is a
typical IP mask. The value is not saved until the
write
command is
issued.
set multicast
aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
sets the multicast address in the form aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd. Each three-
digit series is a value of 0
–255 separated by a period (.) This address
is unique to the hardware it serves. For example, 224.100.100.001
would be a valid multicast address. The value is not saved until the
write
command is issued.
set gateway
aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
sets the gateway address in decimal notation. The gateway address
is in the form aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd with each three-digit series
representing a value from 0
–
255 separated by period characters (.)
This address is unique to the hardware it serves. Use gateway
000.000.000.000 if no gateway is available. The value is not saved
until the
write
command is issued.
2
Execute the
write
command:
write
Writes the TCP/IP parameters to EEPROM and causes the IsoAir 310P particle
sensor to reboot with the new networking parameters loaded.
NOTE:
The
write
command must be executed to make the TCP/IP
configuration you entered in step 1 available.
3
Execute the
sta[tus]
command:
Typing the
sta[tus]
command will cause output similar to that shown on page 3-5.
If typing
status
or
?
(and then pressing the
Enter
key) does not produce any kind of
activity on your display screen, the terminal emulator may be set up incorrectly or
your cable may be improperly connected or faulty.
