Chapter 6 4-20 mA Input and Solid State Outputs
Analog Inputs: Connections and Configuration
When in internal digital control mode the 5 digital outputs will be slaved to the status
LED as follows:
Status
Digital Outputs
Green
1 ON
all others OFF
Yellow
2 ON
all others OFF
Red
3,4,5 ON
all others OFF
When in external digital control mode the 5 digital outputs can be run via:
PMS Interface
TCP
OPC Interface
(TCP via writable tags)
Modbus Interface
(TCP via coils or single register)
Setup Interface
(serial or Telnet TCP)
Analog Inputs: Connections and Configuration
Connections
On the IsoAir 310P with optional Analog Input/Digital Outputs, there are three Analog
Inputs that p24 VDC nominal power and 50 mA maximum current. The Analog
Inputs can accommodate sensors that output either electrical current (e.g. 4 – 20 mA)
or voltage (e.g. 0 – 10 volts).
The table below describes the connections for a standard Vaisala Temperature/
Relative Humidity (TRH) probe, operating with 4 -20 mA current outputs. Other probes
may have different color coding, but the connections are the same.

NOTE: Although the interface supports the external control of the digital
outputs, Pharmaceutical Net and Facility Net do not, and the digital
outputs will mimic the LEDs.
