7.4.1.6 Replacement of the secondary piston (ref. 3 Fig. 13 on page 51)
To replace the secondary piston (
ref. 3 Fig. 13
) proceed as follows:
- check through the cover door (
ref. 11 Fig. 4
on page 23) that the safety pin
(
ref. 4 Fig. 13
) is placed completely outside the shoulder in order to pull it out; if
it does not happen operate by impulses on the start and stop button until it will be
possible to extract it;
- remove the cover (
ref. 11 Fig. 4
);
- lift the block (
ref. 5 Fig. 13
) making it turn around the pin (
ref. 6 Fig. 13
);
- take the piston out (
ref. 3 Fig. 13
) and replace it;
- lower the block (
ref. 5 Fig. 13
);
- insert the safety pin (
ref. 4 Fig. 13
);
- re-assemble the protection covers.
7.4.2
Electrical maintenance
7.4.2.1 Resetting a thermal cut-out
To reset a thermal cut-out, perform the following steps in order:
1) set the master power switch
(ref. 1 Fig. 10
on page 39
)
to position 0;
2) open the door of the electrical cabinet using the key supplied with the machine;
3) identify the thermal cut-out (normally marked QF).
4) lightly press the push-button marked
(I)
if it projects further than the push-button
marked
(O)
;
5) wait for 10 seconds;
6) if the thermal cut-out does not reset, repeat the operation described in point 4)
above;
7) close the cabinet door.
Electric
Technician
Maintenance of the machine’s electrical equipment, including the motor, must be
performed solely by qualified technical staff.
Operator
The operator may only perform the following electrical maintenance operations:
1) resetting a thermal cut-out;
2) replacing a fuse.
