Replacing the outfeed conveyor motor (ref. 8
Fig. 14
on page 55
)
To replace the motor, perform the following operations in order:
1) open the side and rear guards;
2) loosen the four screws securing the motor;
3) remove the belt (
ref. 6

) as described in par. 7.4.1.3.
4) remove the pulley from the motor;
5) keeping the motor raised, remove the four screws which support it;
6) remove the motor and disconnect the electrical wires from the terminal block.
7) transfer the pulley from the old motor to the new motor.
8) Connect the electrical wires to the terminal block of the new motor.
9) Insert the motor into the machine and loosely secure it using the 4 screws;
10) refit the belt (

) and tension it;
11) securely fasten the motor to the support base by tightening the 4 screws;
12) check that the motor runs in the correct direction as indicated in para.
“5.6 First
start-up” on page 34
if it does not, swap two phases in the terminal block as
indicated in the same paragraph.
13) Close the guards and secure them using the relative screws.

The operations described below must only be carried out by qualified staff
trained to work on the machine.

Note the exact order of the electrical connections.
Warning!
Make sure to observe the same order as that used for the old motor. In case
of doubt, the electrical documentation attached to this Manual clearly
shows the connections.
