Storage conditions
4.12 IP protection rating
The covers of electrical equipment exposed to external agents are rated IP 54.
4.13 Residual risks and special guards
As provided in Norm UNI EN 12042, we list below the residual risks and measures
adopted to guard against them.
4.13.1 Mechanical hazards
The following significant mechanical hazards are present:
z
trapping hazard;
z
entrainment hazard;
z
crushing hazard;
z
shearing hazard.
Protective measures:
The upper rim of the hopper is surrounded by a safety ring connected to a positive
action microswitch which immediately stops the machine when light pressure is
exerted on any part of the ring.
Cleaning of the dividing chamber and removal of any leftover dough contained in
it, must be carried out in accordance with the instructions indicated in
“7.3 Periodic
cleaning” on page 47
which facilitate the cleaning operation, even if they require
a few extra minutes to complete; any individual who performs these operations
without following the instructions d will be liable for any injury to people or damage
to property resulting therefrom.
Supervisor
Up to the time of installation, the machine must be stored indoors, in a dry place,
protected from the weather and in particular from dust, at a temperature in the
range 0 °C to 50 °C, away from sources of heat and potential explosion. Refer
to
Table 2
a pag. 25 for the weight of the machine, and check that the surface
on which the machine is placed is designed and constructed to support it.
Danger
DANGER ZONE 1: area comprising the hopper (ref. ZP1 Fig. 15 on page 61)
and the portioning chamber.
NATURE OF RISK: Risk of shearing of the upper extremities in the dividing
chamber.
