Locking the settings (LOCK)
To prevent accidental changing, adding or erasing of settings, lock the settings so
that you can edit only the System settings. All settings are not locked by default.

Press the [SET] key for 2 seconds or longer in the
Home display.
The Set display appears.

Press the [SYSTEM] key.
The System display appears.

Press the [LOCK] key.

Press the [LOCK ON] or
[LOCK OFF] key.
The selected key is bordered.
[LOCK ON]
:
To lock settings other than
[SYSTEM].
[LOCK OFF]
:
To unlock all settings.

Tip
If you press the [CANCEL] key, the setting in this display will be canceled, and the
display will return to step 3.

Press the [OK] key.
Setting ([LOCK ON] or [LOCK OFF]) is complete.
The display returns to step 3.

To finish all settings, press the COMMANDER OFF
button for 2 seconds or longer.
The display returns to the Home display. Or press the [EXIT] key
repeatedly until the Home display is shown.
Note
The lock setting is available only for setting up operations of the Remote Commander.
Data update using the USB connection or a “Memory Stick” can be done even when the
lock setting is set to ON. After updating, the lock setting is available.
