3-3-16. MONITOR Gain Adjustment
Equipment: Waveform monitor
Test point: TEST OUT connector/side panel
Preparations
.
Extend the EN-141 board with the extension board (EX-762 board assemby or EX-464.)
. Connect the waveform monitor to the TEST OUT connector/side panel.
. Disconnect the triax cable or optical fiber cable from CCU.
. Supply power from the AC adaptor (AC-550/550CE).

Adjustment procedures
1. Select G signal by pushing down the TEST OUT switch (side panel) from the RGB position towards
the SEL position. (You can check which signal is selected on the viewfinder screen.)
2. Adj. point: 1 RV801 (RGB SYNC) /EN-141 board
Specification: A = 40
±
1 IRE [NTSC]
A = 300
±
5 mV [PAL]
3. Adj. point: 1 RV800 (RGB LEV) /EN-141 board
Specification: B = 100
±
1 IRE [NTSC]
B = 700
±
5 mV [PAL]
Setting after adjustment
. Connect the CCU with a triax cable or optical fiber cable.
.
Power off and return EN-141 board to its normal position.
