[Live Audio] - This is the “protocol” that should be used when you need to use
the Courier as an ISDN codec which allows the Courier to
transmit live audio down an ISDN line to a remote studio. Pre-
recorded files can also be transmitted down the line if they have
been recorded in the correct format.
11.1.3. Entering a number
When you need to enter or edit a telephone number, the screen format is very
similar to that of the rename screen :
The first character of the telephone number will be highlighted. Use the UP and
DOWN arrows, or the SCRUB-WHEEL, to change the character and the ENTER
key to move on to the next character. You can use any character in the following
range :
0-9.1 Normal numbers.
* As the star sign on a telephone keypad.
# As the hash sign on a telephone keypad.
P Pulse (rotary) dialling.
T Tone dialling.
A-D Used by some telephone systems.
: Return to command mode after dialling.
W Wait for a second dial tone.
@ Dials, waits for a quiet answer and continues.
@56 Append to telephone meter in ISDN mode to force a 56kbs
connection.
Enter a space character to finish the number. To leave this screen at any time, press
the MENU button.
