AXP1440-C07 Shelf Installation
5.1 Overview
This chapter describes mounting and installation options for the AXP1440-C07 shelf.
5.2 Shelf Physical Characteristics
The following table provides the dimensions and weight of an equipped and unequipped
shelf and rack mounting requirements.
5.3 Installation Prerequisites
This section describes the prerequisites required for installation.
5.3.1 Equipment Needed
Have the following tools available to install the 14-slot shelf:

5/32” Allen wrench

Torque wrench

Nut driver with 7/16" socket

Multimeter

Two options for rack mounting:
With top and bottom slide rails
Front attached exclusively through front panel captive screws
Each shelf requires 13.5U of space and affectively takes up 14U when
mounted in a rack. Two shelves can fit in a 40U telecom rack.
Cable management trays are available for the front and rear of the shelf.
