4.5 Replacing individual components

4.

Connect all of the plug-in terminals at the new component and carefully check that the

wiring is correct. If the basic device was replaced, then also connect the PROFINET

connection.

NOTICE
Incorrect response and damage after switching on again
When replacing an individual component it must be ensured that the new component

used is the identical type to the one that you have removed and has the same settings.

This is to avoid any possible incorrect response and damage after you switch on again.
After replacing the component ensure that the wiring of the plug-in terminals is correct.

Note
In the REMOTE mode, after replacing an individual component, it is not absolutely

necessary that the new component has to be reparameterized. If an identical component

was used as replacement, the assigned control system identifies this and automatically

parameterizes the new component with the settings of the predecessor component.
However, we recommend that the manual settings are aligned with those of the

component that has been replaced.

5.

Connect power to the basic device.
The new component of the identical type is activated. When replacing an expansion

module, the outputs of the replaced module go into the "manually shutdown" operating

state (LED is lit yellow). When replacing the basic device, all outputs of the power supply

system go into the "manually shutdown" operating state.

6.

Check all of the settings at the components to ensure that the correct values are set.

7.

Commission the outputs by pressing on the relevant button.

You have successfully replaced the individual component.
