Assigning a SITOP PSU8600 to a controller 

To be able to use the PSU8600 you must assign an IO controller as IO device. 
1.

 

Click in the network view on the blue lettering "Not assigned" at the left next to the symbol 

of the PSU8600. 

 

A menu opens with the controllers that are available. 

 

2.

 

Select a controller in the menu. 

3.

 

Select the connection between the controller and PSU8600. 

 

4.

 

Make the required settings in the "Network data" editor. 

5.

 

Double-click on PSU8600 to display it in the device view. 

6.

 

Select the PROFINET-interface. 

 

7.

 

In the inspector window under "Properties > General > Profinet interface [X1] > Ethernet 

addresses", enter the IP address of the PSU8600, which was already assigned in the 

TIA Portal . 

You have assigned a controller to the PSU8600.
