Output
Note
The time that it takes for the output pair involved to cool down depends on the ambient
temperature.
1.
Allow the output pair involved to cool down.
After cooling down, LEDs "ON/OFF/RST"
②
of the output pair, flash red.
2.
Press the buttons of the outputs involved.
The temperature shutdown was reset, and the output has been switched-on again.
3.10.2
Phase dissymmetry monitoring
The basic device has an integrated phase dissymmetry monitoring function. This prevents an
inadmissibly high load on the components in the input circuit of the basic device as a result
of dissymmetry of the supply voltage.
Identifying a shutdown due to phase dissymmetry
If the power supply system is operated with an unsymmetrical supply (phase dissymmetry),
then this is signaled by a green flashing LED "OK" (1) at the basic device. If, at rated load,
the permissible duration of approx. 10 min. for an unsymmetrical supply is exceeded, all of
the outputs of the basic device and the expansion modules being used are switched off.
Note
The reason for an unsymmetrical supply can be line supply dissymmetry – as well as a
complete phase failure. From an output power of approximately 240 W, for the 20 A/4 x 5 A -
or approximately 480 W for the 40 A/4 x 10 A basic device - this state is detected and
signaled.
When a phase fails, the power supply system can be continually operated up to a maximum
output current of 10 A or 20 A without any restrictions.
