It is possible to use different buffer modules in one system. This means, for example, that a

buffer time of 10300 ms (10000 ms + 300 ms) can be implemented.

Preconditions

●

STEP 7 is opened and a project with an IO controller is created.

●

A SITOP PSU8600 basic device has been integrated in the project.

Procedure
1.

In the graphic editor, select the hardware configuration of the basic device to display the

PSU8600 station window.

Navigate in the Hardware catalog to the buffer modules under PROFINET

IO\I/O\PSU8600\BUF8600.
