7.5.6.1 Configuring the PROFINET interface
You have the option of configuring the PROFINET interface regarding the following points:
● General I&M (identification & maintenance)
–
Define the location ID
– Define the contact
– Define the device name
● Define whether the IP address is dynamically assigned (activate DHCP) or whether it
should be fixed.
PROFINET interface
Procedure
1.
Select the "Hardware configuration" menu.
2. Select submenu "General".
3. Select the "Communication interface" entry.
4. In the editor area, under "Device name" enter the required device name.
