SICAM AK Redundancy Engineering
This section describes the engineering of the redundancy function in CP-6010.
2.4.1
Initializing Target System
For the start-up of the Redundancy system, at first the CP-6010 must be parameterized. The
engineering takes place online via a web browser (
Microsoft
Internet Explorer ®
ab Version 8.0)
and presupposes that the following steps are carried out:
•
configure IP address for the engineering PC
•
load firmware
─
copy latest latest firmware RED26 into the root directory of the SD card
─
insert SD card into the target system
─
switch on target system
•
establish connection to the target system
2.4.1.1 Configure IP Address for Engineering PC
For the parameterization, the target system must be connected with the engineering PC and
switched on. The CP-6010 module must be equipped with SD card. Establishing of a
communication connection between engineering PC and the target system takes place via
adjustable IP addresses.
For the initial parameter setting via a point-to-point connection, the default IP address of the
CP-6010 (
172.16.0.3
) can be used. In order that the engineering PC is able to
communicate with the CP-6010, a suitable IP address must be set for this.
Click thereto in the control panel of the engineering PC on the symbol
Network and Sharing
Center
, after that on
Local Area Connection
and in the following window on
Properties
.
Mark in the property dialog
Internet Protocol (TCP/IPv4)
and click on
Properties
.
Select U
SE THE FOLLOWING
IP
ADDRESS
and enter
172.16.0.4
and the subnet mask
255.0.0.0, and confirm with
OK
. After that, confirm all the property dialogs with
OK
.
Note
The IP address of the engineering PC must be in the same addressing segment as the CP-6010. If for
your application other IP addresses are required, the engineering PC must be parameterized
appropriately.
