2.5.2.1 System-Technical Settings

In both systems SICAM AK, select the menu

Redundancy control

under the M-CPU.

Select the parameter

Redundancy control

Global redundancy switchover with

applicational voting

via the relevant pull-down menu. This enables the device to apply the

“global switchover”.

Under

Settings for PREs

, select the PRE on the M-CPU (connected to the voter) as

User

data filter deactivated

via the parameter

Option: User data filter

All the other PREs are selected as

System element is being switched to passive

Copy all the parameters from SICAM AK A to SICAM AK B and change the IP address of
SICAM AK B.
