MATRIX FUNCTIONS
1. Inputting a Matrix
• Up to ten files can be defined as matrices (each matrix can contain up to 99 rows
and columns).
• The size may be defined in the range of 1 through 99. However, the overall size is
limited according to the memory capacity.
• To input a matrix, press
to enter the edit menu in the matrix mode. (A matrix
which is already input can also be edited in the
edit mode.)
• For the input procedures, define a dimension (row
×
column) and enter numeric
values for elements in sequential order.

Input a matrix
to mat A.
1. Press
to display the matrix menu.

to display the edit menu.

The contents on the right portion of the screen are not
changed. When a matrix name is selected on [A NAME] on
the previous screen, that matrix name is copied to the home
screen (screen immediately before pressing
) and is
used for calculation.

to specify [1 mat A] as the matrix input file.
