You can use the supplied software "DVR Utility" to remote-control the digital video recorder from your personal computer. 
Confirm that your computer meets the following operating environment requirements before installing the DVR Utility. 

This software requires the following operating environment. 

Operating system: Windows XP 
CPU: Pentium 4 (3.0 GHz or higher processor) 
Memory: 512 Mbytes or more 
Video Card: 102×768 (32Bit, Color) 
Monitor: 1024 × 768 dots 
LAN Card: 10/100Mbps, Ethernet 
Hard disk drive: 10 Gbytes 
DirectX version: 8.1 

You can install DVR Utility using the installation wizard. 

Insert the supplied CD-ROM (Application Disc) into your personal computer's CD-ROM drive and double-click [DVR Utility]. 

The installer starts and the start page of the wizard appears. 

In the start page of the wizard, Click 

. 

The [Choose Destination Location] page appears. 

Specify the folder into which you want to install DVR Utility and Click 

. 

The installation process starts and the progress of the installation appears in the [Setup Status] screen.
