If you have set the drive type of any drive on the digital video recorder to "Automatic Backup Drive", you must create a backup folder and set the group of backup channels and the
size of that backup folder.
Register any combination of channels from which you want to back up data as a group.
You will specify this group of channels when creating a backup folder.
The [Automatic Backup Drive Setting] window opens.
The [Automatic Backup Channel] window for Group 1 opens.
You can select more than one camera.
The following is an example of registering Channels 1 to 4 to "GROUP 1".
By following the same procedure (Steps 2 to 3), you can register up to three groups.
Mapping a newly formatted drive to “Data Drive” causes the system to secure the entire disk space less the management area as the reserved area.
Since, in the Windows file management method, this reserved area is recognized as a used area, the remaining disk capacity of a “Data Drive” type disk appears to
be less than the actual remaining capacity available for recording.
